2013 Las Vegas: NASCAR Nationwide Race Results - Hornish Jr, Ford Win!

Sam Hornish Jr. and his No. 12 Wurth Ford won the 17th Annual Sam's Town 300, his second victory in 69 NASCAR Nationwide Series races. This is his first victory and third top-10 finish in 2013. With the result, Hornish breaks a 36-race winless streak, his last win came on Nov. 12, 2011 at Phoenix International Raceway. This is also his first victory and second top-10 finish in two races at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. In addition, this is Penske Racing's first NASCAR Nationwide Series victory at Las Vegas.
In second, Kyle Busch and his No. 54 Monster Energy Toyota posted his second top-10 finish in ten races at Las Vegas Motor Speedway . It is his second top-10 finish in 2013.
Brian Vickers and his No. 20 Dollar General Toyota finished third to post his third top-10 finish in six races at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
Trevor Bayne and his No. 6 World Financial Group Ford Elliott Sadler and his No. 11 Interstate Batteries Toyota rounding out the top five finishers.
Alex Bowman was the highest finishing rookie, he finished eighth.
Sam Hornish Jr. leads the NASCAR Nationwide point standings by 19 points over Justin Allgaier.
