Ray Jr. and the whole team have set higher expectations for his second visit at Bristol, given Ray’s experience here and his love of high-banked tracks. Ray is pumped: "We had many reasons to come back for this particular race. Everyone from NASCAR is here, I love the high speeds, racing is really tight amongst great drivers, and I will be in a very well prepared car. I am aiming at a Top 15 finish, based on the car and the experience I gained over the 2012 season, in Bristol as well as in the whole NASCAR Canadian Tire Series."

Former Canadian racer Randy MacDonald now runs a preparation shop and race team in Charlotte (NC), and will supply Ray Jr. with a competitive race car as well trackside support. "We know Ray Jr. very well, and enjoy his passion for the sport. He went through two good learning seasons in 2011 and 2012, and we will use our knowledge of the track to help him learn more and come up with the best possible finish."

The Cité de Mirabel management is happy to be a part of the event. Daniel Proulx, one of the Cité de Mirabel project founders, sees a great fit: "We are starting the season with an important NASCAR event to maximize exposure in the US, where we will be active in the short term. This is a win-win scenario for us on both sides of the border."

Ray Jr. will be on track for practice and qualifying on Thursday (March 14), and on Saturday afternoon (March 16) for the 250 lap race.
