2013 Australia GP (Practice): Formula One (F1) LIVE Streaming, Timing, Weather & TV Coverage
By PaddockTalk.com Staff Writers
The 2013 Formula One (F1) season kicks off in Melbourne, Australia today at 9:30 PM Eastern with practice session number one for the 2012 Australian Grand Prix. The session will run until 11 PM Eastern.
If you are looking for LIVE timing and scoring, be sure to check out the free service at the Formula One website. There are three different options, and has been a mainstay for Formula One (F1) fans for years featuring best personal laps, sector times and more!
Practice session two will start at 1:30 AM Eastern (that's right... early morning), and will run 90 minutes until 3 AM Eastern. Hard core F1 fans will have no problem after being away from the sport since the season finale - nearly five months ago.
For LIVE streaming, there is no official coverage this season. For practice session one and two you will have to view the TV coverage unless you can find some contraband video on the Internet. Many of the international broadcasts make it onto the video websites... including the fabulous BBC coverage.
For LIVE TV in the United States, you have one option - NBC Sports Network (NBCSN). The first practice is tape delayed, the second is LIVE.
That being said, the weather in Australia is generally cooperating. The consensus forecast is a 20% chance of rain during both practice sessions with mild temperatures in the mid-70s F/ low-20s C. However, Saturday qualifying, and the Australian Grand Prix on Sunday appear to be likely for rain at 60 percent.
So enjoy! The moment we've all been waiting for is about to begin!
