2013 Australia GP (Qualifying): Formula One (F1) LIVE Streaming, Timing, Weather & TV Coverage

By PaddockTalk.com Staff Writers

The 2013 Formula One (F1) season continues in Melbourne, Australia with practice session three and qualifying for the 2013 Australian Grand Prix. Practice session three is scheduled to run from 11 PM Eastern until 12 Midnight. The order was a bit jumbled on Friday but it looks like the field will have to be on their best to take Pole from three-time Formula One F1 champion Sebastian Vettel.

If you are looking for LIVE timing and scoring, be sure to check out the free service at the Formula One website. There are three different options, and has been a mainstay for Formula One (F1) fans for years featuring best personal laps, sector times and more!

Qualifying will start at 2 AM Eastern (that's right... early Saturday morning), and will run approximately 90 minutes until 3:30 AM Eastern. Hard core F1 fans will have no problem getting up to watch the action LIVE after being away from the sport since the season finale - nearly five months ago.

With Speed out of the picture in the United States, there will be no LIVE streaming for practice three. For qualifying you will have to view the TV coverage unless you can find some contraband video on the Internet. Many of the international broadcasts make it onto the video websites... including the fabulous BBC coverage.

For LIVE TV for qualifying in the United States, you have one option - new broadcaster NBC Sports Network. The color commentator will be new with Bob Varsha not making the move, but David Hobbes, and Steve Machett will be handling the other chores.

That being said, the weather in Australia will be very questionable. The consensus forecast for qualifying is continued mild temperatures in the mid-60s and a 20 percent chance of rain. But a 60 percent chance of rain later in the day. So fingers are crossed.

The Australian Grand Prix on Sunday now appears to be safe from rain, after being a 60 percent chance yesterday.

So enjoy!
