Team Ghinzani And Mp Motorsport Get Back In Action

The Auto GP teams are preparing for what is set to be an exciting 2013 season taking-off next weekend at Monza. After having made their way on-track at Magione, Team Ghinzani went back running at Misano to continue in their work with Robert Visoiu. The 17-year-old Romanian driver is coming from the developmental ladder established by Piercarlo Ghinzani and his team and for him this will be a much deserved last step to a top open-wheel environment in a so promising career. At the Adriatic venue, the former F.1 driver's squad enjoyed some sunny weather with temperatures around 8°C as they managed to conduct their pit-stop and set-up testing programs despite the strong winds.

MP Motorsport is also ready to warm their engines. On Monday, March the 18th and Tuesday, March the 19th, the Dutch-based operation, managed by Sander Dorsmans, will line-up at Adria to shake down their new racecars. After having missed last February's test at Monza, the team had scheduled a session at Magny-Cours the bad weather forecasts motivated the switch to Italy and Adria. Riccardo Agostini and Meindert van Buuren will be on-track while the team's other driver, Daniel De Jong, will be traveling towards Malaysia for the opening round of the GP2 Series.
