Date Change Confirmed For FIA GT Series Zandvoort Race

The third round of this season’s FIA GT Series at Zandvoort, Netherlands, has been brought forward a week and will now take place on the weekend of 6/7 July 2013.

The change comes about after the FIA sanctioned the date change for the Masters of F3 event at the World Motor Sports Council meeting held earlier this month. The change has been made to avoid a clash with the Norisring DTM fixture which was moved back a week from July 20/21 to July 13/14.

The FIA GT Series will visit Zandvoort for the first time in July and will form an exciting package of races with the famous Masters of F3 race at the seaside venue. A large crowd is expected for the third round of the six-event FIA GT Series in July at the popular Circuit Park Zandvoort track. The weekend will feature two races with a qualifying race on Saturday 6th July and the feature race on Sunday 7th July.
