Adelitas Way To Perform In Fanzone During Auto Club 400 Weekend

Capitol Recording artist Adelitas Way, who’s current single “Alive” is approaching Top 5 at Active Rock will headline Auto Club Speedway’s FanZone main entertainment stage on Saturday, March 23 from Noon – 1pm prior the Royal Purple 300 NNS race. In addition to seeing Adelitas Way perform live, fans will also have the opportunity to take part in all the fun in the FanZone surrounding race morning.

The rockers will perform hits from both their self titled debut album as well as their sophomore CD Home School Valedictorian which includes the hit songs “Sick” and “Criticize” - both number one singles on the active rock chart.

Rick DeJesus (vocals), Keith Wallen (guitar), Derek Johnston (bass) and Trevor Stafford (drums) make up the tight-knit Las Vegas quartet who have toured with the likes of Guns N’ Roses, Shinedown, Theory Of A Deadman, Creed and Puddle of Mudd.

While self-titled debut release Adelitas Way was described as “sizzling with rage, sex, and regret” the band kicks up enough noise to satisfy even the most dogmatic hard rock junkie,” Their latest release, Home School Valedictorian manages to be all that and more. This CD is a massive step up. We didn’t say, ‘Oh, we did great on our first record, let’s redo it.’ We set the bar so high on this record, we really tried to outdo ourselves,” DeJesus explains. “Sure, we love bands like Three Days Grace and Breaking Benjamin, but I don’t want to sound like anyone else. I want people to hear us on the radio and say, ‘That’s Adelitas Way.’”

In keeping with their all-for-one-and-one-for-all outlook, Adelitas Way won’t leave a gig until every waiting AW fan has met the band or gotten autographs. “I mean, we’ve played at festivals for 75,000 people, our first single (“Invincible”) broke top five at active rock, and it’s all because of the people who listen to us,” says DeJesus. “We’ll never forget that. We’re blessed.”

To get your fix of Adelitas Way, you must have a ticket to NASCAR’s Auto Club 400 Weekend.
