The Tasmania 360, the second event on the V8 Supercars calendar will host the opening round of the QBE Australian Superbike Championship.
To celebrate the collaboration of Australia’s premiere two-wheel and four-wheel categories, one fan will win the chance experience a pillion ride with Team Honda rider Jamie Stauffer and a hotlap with the Pepsi Max Crew’s Mark Winterbottom.
Fans of both disciplines can enter via http://a.pgtb.me/qRvkrr to win the ultimate adrenalin packed experience, which will take place at Tasmania’s Symmons Plains Raceway on Friday April 5.
The lucky winner will suit up for a thrilling hotlap, seated alongside Mark Winterbottom in the #5 Pepsi Max FPR Ford which will reach speeds of up to 270 km per hour on the 2.41 km track.
“Symmons Plains is one of the fastest tracks we go to all year so getting a hot lap in my car plus a ride on the back of a Superbike is going to be very cool,” Winterbottom says.
“A hot lap is a great experience for any fan and gets you as close to actually driving a V8 Supercar as you’ll ever get.
“I must admit though, I am a little jealous. A pillion ride with Jamie Stauffer is something I’d love to do so whoever wins this is getting an amazing prize. Truly once in a lifetime stuff.”
After switching to a set of leathers our ultimate fan will be taken on the ride of their life with two-time Australian Superbike Champion Jamie Stauffer aboard a Honda CBR1000RR, reaching speeds of over 200km per hour.
"This is an awesome promotion," Stauffer said. "We really enjoy running with the V8 Supercars and now someone has the chance to win the ultimate experience – a hotlap with Mark Winterbottom and a pillion ride with me.
"I have done pillion rides at all the Australian tracks but I think Tassie definitely offers the most variety.
"The biggest challenge for the pillion passenger at Symmons Plains is not the fast sections but actually Turns 1 and 2 under braking.
"I have never had anyone get off the bike not totally excited. It is a once in a lifetime opportunity and an experience they will never forget," Stauffer added.
The prize includes return economy flights for 2 adults from winner’s closest capital city, departing Friday April 5 and returning Saturday April 6.
The competition finishes on Sunday, 24 March.
