Montmel Esting ‐ Day 1 Zamparelli Debuts With Zeta Corse
The last two days of preseason testing for the 2013 Formula Renault 3.5 series are currently underway at Montmelò, 30 kilometers north of Barcelona. A fter the snow of A lcaniz and the rainy weather of Le Castellet, warm and sunny condi‐ tions welcomed Zeta Corse in Catalunya.

The team, managed by Claudio Corradini, brought on‐track Mihai Marinescu, who sported a brand‐new livery on his race‐ car, and Dino Zamparelli. The British racer of Italian heritage (his father moved to the UK as a child) is one of Marinescu's fellow former Formula 2 dri‐ vers.
Zamparelli had his first taste of the demanding Dallara Renault 3.5. "His first few runs were very interesting ‐ explained Team Manager Claudio Corradini ‐ and even though he ended up at the bottom of the charts, his progression between the first and the second session has been very positive. This morning, Dino log‐ ged his fastest lap in 1'33"094, but he lowered that mark down to 1'31"090. His approach has been progressive. He suffered from a physical point of view but that's ok with this car".
Marinescu, who has already been lined‐up by the team at A lcaniz and Le Castellet, clocked his fastest laptime of the A M segment in 1'31"435, ending up in 22nd. In the afternoon, he scored the 24th fastest lap in 1'31"044. "Mihai did a good job as he tested several different types of set‐ups, putting many laps under his belt and improving his confidence with the car" continued Corradini. Day 2 will go underway tomorrow
