In Day 2 at Circuit de Catalunya, Mihai Marinescu ended up both the A M and the PM segments in 18th. A fter the rain hit the track in the morning, the teams kept waiting for some dry weather. Marinescu set a personal fastest lap of 1'31"780 (26 laps) in the morning before improving to 1'31"154 (47 laps) in the afternoon.

"Marinescu kept an excellent race pace while he still has to improve his performance in terms of taking the best out of his new tires in all sectors ‐ told Team Manager Claudio Corradini ‐ his ideal lap was better than his fastest mark of the day. On the team's second car, British‐Italian driver Dino Zamparelli completed his maiden run on a Renault 3.5 car. In the A M session he was 24th in 1'32"779 before ending up in 21st in the afternoon (1'31"569).

"Dino was able to overcome all the issues experienced throughout day 1 ‐ said again Corradini ‐ he did a good job today as he kept improving. Now it's time to focus on Round 1 at Monza as we try to finalyze the talks still in place with the drivers".
