2013 St. Pete: IndyCar Practice One Results - Hunter-Reay, Chevrolet Fastest!

The IndyCar series kicked off their first practice of the 2013 season on the streets of St. Petersburg, Florida. Leading the way around the temporary circuit was 2013 IndyCar champion Ryan Hunter-Reay and his No. 1 entry with a lap of 1:02.4534 / 103.757 mph.
Second quick was James Hinchcliffe and his No. 27 Chevrolet with a lap of 1:02.4544 / 103.756 mph.
Will Power and his No. 12 Chevrolet with a lap of 1:02.5464 / 103.603 mph was third fastest followed by EJ Viso (#5) and Tony Kanaan (#11).
Dario Franchitti and his No. 10 was fastest of the Honda's during the first practice with a lap of 1:02.6823 / 103.378 mph, he was sixth quick. Behind Franchitti was Simona De Silvestro (#78), Josef Newgarden (#67), Sebastien Bourdais (#7), and Marco Andretti (#25).
Overall, 25 IndyCar entries completed laps during the practice. Next up will be practice two at 2:40 PM ET.
