Lofton, a native of Brawley, Calif., will leave the asphalt of NASCAR for the next four months to get dirty in Robby Gordon's Stadium SUPER Trucks an off-road racing series modeled after the late Mickey Thompson Off-Road Grand Prix. Imperial Valley Full Plate will serve as primary sponsor on the #6 truck for select races, while additional sponsorship will be announced at a later date.

"I'm excited to announce that I will be competing for the first ever Stadium SUPER Trucks Championship. I have been able to watch Robby's series grow from the start, and it was a real thrill for all the fans, sponsors, drivers, and officials who were apart of the first race at University of Phoenix Stadium. "Stated Lofton.

In 2013, 11 SST events will be televised via tape delay on NBC networks, seven on NBC and four on NBC Sports. Check local listings for channels and times.

Venues include the University of Phoenix Stadium (Glendale, Ariz.) April 6, Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach (Long Beach, Calif.) April 27, Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum (Los Angeles, Calif.) May 4, Qualcomm Stadium (San Diego, Calif.) May 18, Edward Jones Dome (St. Louis, Mo.) June 8, Soldier Field (Chicago, Ill.) June 22, Georgia Dome (Atlanta, Ga.) July 6, Cowboys Stadium (Arlington, Texas) July 13, Metrodome (Minneapolis, Minn.) July 20, Stadium SUPER Trucks Finals (Las Vegas, Nev.) November 9, and one to-be-named international event on August 3.

The next race for Justin Lofton will be Sunday afternoon, April 21, in Long Beach, Calif. As the 600 HP Stadium SUPER Trucks take to the streets of Long Beach, for a high flying, tire squealing, door to door race that will certainly give the Grand Prix of Long Beach fans something to talk about.
