2013 Darlington: NASCAR Sprint Cup Race Results - Kenseth, Toyota Win!

Matt Kenseth and his No. 20 Home Depot / Husky Toyota won the 64th Annual Bojangles' Southern 500, his 27th victory in 483 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races. This is his third victory and seventh top-10 finish in 2013. This is also his first victory and ninth top-10 finish in 20 races at Darlington Raceway. The average race speed of 141.386 mph is a track record. The previous record was 140.350 mph, set by Kyle Busch in May 2008.

Grabbing second, Denny Hamlin and his No. 11 SportClips Toyota posted his seventh top-10 finish in eight races at Darlington Raceway. It is his second top-10 finish in 2013.

In third, Jeff Gordon and his No. 24 Cromax Pro Chevrolet posted his 22nd top-10 finish in 33 races at Darlington Raceway. This was his 300th top-five finish in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series becoming only the fourth driver to accomplish this feat, joining David Pearson, Bobby Allison and Richard Petty.

Jimmie Johnson and his No. 48 Lowe's Emerald Green Chevrolet was fourth with Kevin Harvick and his No. 29 Budweiser Chevrolet rounding out the top five.

Jimmie Johnson leads the NASCAR Sprint Cup point standings by 44 points over Carl Edwards.
