• Remembering Dick Trickle... In memory of his mentor Dick Trickle, Wallace will run the White Knight emblem on his name plate this weekend. Trickle acquired the nickname in part to his SuperAmerica paint scheme. Billed as the winningest short-track driver in history, Trickle was a major influence on Wallace's racing career. "In 1986 I started my racing career in ASA, while my brother Rusty was in the Sprint Cup Series and friends with Dick Trickle," said Wallace. "He was my hero growing up and took me under his wing, taught me how to be a race car driver and because of him, I won the 1986 ASA Rookie of the Year award. But more importantly, Dick was 75% my friend and 25% was about racing. Hearing about his death last week broke my heart, so I'm really excited to put something on our car to honor my mentor and friend Dick Trickle for this Memorial Day race weekend."

• Man of Many Hats ... Co-owner and General Manager of RAB Racing, Robby Benton, will once again climb atop the pit box Saturday as crew chief of Wallace's No. 29 Toyota Camry. Benton, 33, served as crew chief of RAB Racing's ARCA and NNS entries for four years from 2005 to 2008. Benton also served as Wallace's spotter in the Nationwide Series for the past two seasons.

• Homecoming ... Benton hails from Harrisburg, N.C., graduated from North Mecklenberg High School and attended UNC Charlotte. He began his racing career racing go-carts at Woodleaf Speedway in Salisbury, NC when he was 14 years old. Benton went on to race in the ARCA Series, where he earned one top-five and three top-10 finishes in 11 starts. From there, Benton made a combined seven starts in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and Nationwide Series, before climbing out of the driver's seat and focusing on team ownership. Benton's Concord, N.C.-based RAB Racing has earned one win, one pole, four top-five and 18 top-10 finishes in the NASCAR Nationwide Series.

• RAB Racing at Charlotte ... RAB Racing with Brack Maggard has competed in eight Nationwide Series events at Charlotte Motor Speedway since their inaugural year of competition in 2009. RAB Racing has accumulated two top-20 finishes, including a best showing of 16th, which came with Wallace in 2011

• Catch the Action ... Saturday's History 300 at Charlotte Motor Speedway will be televised liveSaturday, May 25 beginning at 2:30 p.m. EST on ABC and broadcast live on the Performance Racing Network.

Kenny Wallace Quotes:
"It's such a great feeling to be back at Charlotte Motor Speedway for Memorial Day weekend, last year I sat home and wasn't on track so I'm really looking forward to being a part of race week this year. Memorial Day weekend is a big weekend for everybody and my home is only six miles away from the Charlotte Motor Speedway, I'm excited to have a lot of family and friends coming in from St. Louis, and a great sponsor in Toyota and Toyota Care. The countdown to 900 NASCAR starts is on, this will be my 893rdstart and every week I look back and reflect on all the races I've been a part of, but the thing that bothers me is we only have nine wins, stuck in the single digits so I'd really like to get win number 10 this weekend here in Charlotte."

Robby Benton Quotes:
"I'm really excited to be going to Charlotte this weekend with two cars again, we've got the all-time leader in NASCAR starts Kenny Wallace, along with a partner who's done a lot for myself and Kenny in Toyota and Toyota Care. Once again I will be on top of the pitbox as the crew chief for the #29 Toyota Care Camry, and couldn't be happier calling the shots for the #29 team, it's definitely a unique situation being the only car owner that climbs underneath the car during practice to change shocks or springs but I wouldn't have it any other way.
