2013 Milwaukee: Andretti Autosport IndyCar Race Preview

Ryan Hunter-Reay, No. 1 DHL Chevrolet
Hunter-Reay, the 2012 Milwaukee IndyFest champion, is coming off a second-place finish at Texas last weekend and returns to the historic Milwaukee Mile ranked third in the IZOD IndyCar Series championship points standings. The American has two wins (2004, 2012) in seven starts at the one-mile oval.

"There are a few racetracks on the IndyCar schedule that really stand out, and the Milwaukee Mile is one of them. The flat mile oval is one of the toughest tracks for a team and driver to get right, but when you hit the sweet spot it's hard for me to think of a more rewarding feeling behind the wheel. In 2012, (Milwaukee) IndyFest is where we started our championship run with a streak of three wins in a row. Now third in points, we're headed into the thick of the season determined to defend our championship for DHL and Chevy."

Did You Know: In the 2004 Indy car race in West Allis, Wisconsin, Ryan started from the pole position and every lap of the 250-lap race on his way to his second career victory.

Marco Andretti, No. 25 RC Cola Chevrolet

RC Cola driver Marco Andretti has recorded seven top-seven finishes this season and currently sits second in the IZOD IndyCar Series title fight. The American will make his seventh career start at The Mile this Father's Day weekend -- his best start being from the pole position in 2008, his first career pole.

"Looking forward to heading back to The (Milwaukee) Mile for IndyFest this weekend. We have a lot of family history in Milwaukee; a pole and win would be a great Father's Day for dad (Michael Andretti). We're really focused on the championship with the RC Cola Chevy and closing the gap on Helio (Castroneves). Consistency will be the key for us -- but we're coming for a win this weekend."

Did You Know: The podium at The Milwaukee Mile was a family affair for the Andrettis in 1991 when Michael Andretti claimed the win and was joined by cousin John and father Mario.

James Hinchcliffe, No. 27 GoDaddy Chevrolet

Canadian James Hinchcliffe will make his 40th career start at the Wisconsin State Fair Park's Milwaukee Mile this weekend. At the 2012 Milwaukee IndyFest Hinchcliffe claimed the third spot on the podium in the GoDaddy Chevrolet after starting from the eighth position.

"I'm excited to get back to Milwaukee. I love racing there, not only becauseof the history of the place but also the wheel-to-wheel action is awesome! The team had a really strong outing there last year, so hopefully we can repeat that performance and celebrate with some cheese, brats and beer! Couldn't think of a better way to spend a Saturday on Father's Day weekend."
Did You Know: The Mayor of Hinchtown has started a helmet design contest for fans. The winning fan's helmet design will ride with Hinch at the season finale in Fontana on Oct. 19. Read more here.

E.J. Viso, No. 5 Team Venezuela PDVSA CITGO Chevrolet

With five consecutive top-five starts and currently ranked 13th in the championship points standings, Viso will make his fifth start at the historic Milwaukee Mile during this weekend's Milwaukee IndyFest. The Venezuelan's best finish at the one-mile oval is fifth in 2012.

" Milwaukee is a track that I like very much. It's definitely one of the ovals that has the most action being as it's pretty much flat and very short. In the steering, normally we attack those two corners like any fast corners of a road course. It's an amazing race to be involved with, and I'm very much looking forward to continuing the momentum that we've built in the previous races."
Did You Know: The 28-year-old from Caracas, Venezuela will make his 91st IndyCar start this weekend.
