Collecting Milestones
Greg Biffle’s win at Michigan last week was the landmark 1,000th NASCAR victory for Ford. Trevor Bayne collected Ford’s 200th NASCAR Nationwide Series win two weeks ago in Iowa. All-in-all RFR has won a record 314 times in NASCAR action, including 132 wins the Sprint Cup Series, 132 in the NNS and 50 in the NASCAR Truck Series.

Roush Fenway’s NASCAR Road Racing History
Roush Fenway has made 264 road course starts in combined NASCAR action, having collected 13 wins and 107 top 10s. Roush Fenway has four wins in the Sprint Cup series at the road courses and three victories in the NNS. Roush Fenway won three straight Cup races on the road course at Watkins Glen from 1993-95. Five different drivers have won NASCAR road races for Roush Fenway.

Roush Fenway at Sonoma/Road America
Roush Fenway has one win at Sonoma in Cup racing, via Mark Martin’s 1997 win at the track. RFR also havs one win at Sonoma in the truck series, with Joe Ruttman doing the honors in the same season. RFR has eight starts, with one win, two top-10’s and a pole at Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wisc.

On the Road Again
Greg Biffle and Carl Edwards each have won on road courses in NASCAR action. Biffle has wins at Portland (1999) and Watkins Glen (2000) in the Truck series, while Edwards has three wins in Nationwide, including the inaugural race at Road America and at Montreal, as well as last season at Watkins Glen.

Pointing Up
With his eighth-place finish on Sunday, second-place Carl Edwards moved to within 31 points of the Sprint Cup points lead. Biffle used his victory at Michigan to move up two spots to eighth, while Ricky Stenhouse Jr. moved up one spot to 19th in his rookie campaign.

On a roll
Trevor Bayne scored his third consecutive top-five finish in the NNS at MIS last weekend. In the last four races, Bayne has finished sixth or better; including his win at Iowa and a fifth-place run at MIS. He is currently eighth in the NNS point standings; 88 points out of first place.
