NASCAR Number (June 24, 2013)

By Reid Spencer, NASCAR Wire Service

2,210: The number of days between Martin Truex Jr.’s two career victories in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. Truex won at Dover on June 4, 2007. A total of 2,210 days passed before he got his second win Sunday at Sonoma Raceway. Truex set a series record for the number of races between first and second victories—218. That dry spell also is the second longest between any two wins in series history. Bill Elliott owns that record at 226 races.
