The NASCAR Sprint Cup series come to the green flag today with a 43 car field at the legendary Daytona International Speedway. Amazingly, the races just keep getting better and better.

Daytona is the home of NASCAR's Super Bowl - the Daytona 500 - but unlike other major racing series NASCAR fans are treated to a double dose of racing at the massive 2.5-mile tri-oval each year.

While the Daytona 500 has had only three repeat winners since 2000 - Michael Waltrip 2001 & 2003, Matt Kenseth 2009 & 2012, Jimmie Johnson 2006 & 2013 - with 10 different winners in the last 14 races, the annual 400-miler now known as the Coke Zero 400 has one name that stands out above all the rest....

Tony Stewart.

Since 2005, 2-time NASCAR Sprint Cup champion Tony Stewart has won the Coke Zero 400 four times (2005, 2006, 2009 & 2012). Tony Stewart has won a NASCAR Sprint Cup race every year he's been in the Cup series dating back to 1999 and already has one win in his pocket for 2013.

But we'll remind you again... Predictability and Daytona don't got hand-in-hand. Just check out the 2012 Daytona 500. Remember Juan Pablo Montoya's Cup car breaking and smashing into the rear of a jet dryer under yellow and creating a wild fireworks display!

Name one pundit who predicted that!

Aside from Stewart's success in July, there are few if any significant trends, other than... avoid the big one. And get yourself the right dance partner, because to win at Daytona today, you have to be paired up, and with the right car.

Today, we should be picking Tony Stewart for another Daytona Coke Zero 400 win, but today's race will have 14 previous Daytona winners in the 43 car field.

But Matt Kenseth is hot with four wins this season, plus he's a repeat winner, a recent winner, and won the NASCAR Nationwide race last night at Daytona. He even is starting on the front row.

Likely though, our choice will be wrong, because Daytona is... well simply Daytona.

So, if Kenseth fails, keep an eye on a Tony Stewart and Jimmie Johnson they always run well at the restrictor plate track.

So enjoy! Its going to be another thrilling unpredictable Daytona race as the NASCAR Nationwide has already shown.

May the best man - or Danica - win!
