· The Car

o Chassis RK-766 returns to the track for the third race this season. This chassis previously raced at Phoenix International Raceway, finishing 28th as well as Richmond International Raceway, where Pastrana finished ninth, his best NNS finish to date.

· Local Connections

o Brendon McElligott, the front mechanic on the No. 60 Ford Mustang, heads to his “home” track this weekend. McElligott hails from West Newbury Mass., which is a little over an hour and a half away from NHMS.

· Recapping Daytona

o After qualifying second and biding his time, during his move to the front of the field, Pastrana was collected in an accident with less than five laps remaining in the Subway Firecracker 250 at Daytona International Speedway.
o He remains 14th in the NNS point standings.

QUOTE WORTHY

Pastrana on racing GRC and NASCAR at New Hampshire Motor Speedway:

“Loudon was my favorite course on the GRC circuit last year and I can't wait to get back out there! The fans here are awesome and I hope to celebrate with them after the race like we did last year. As far as the Nationwide Series, I've had a very difficult time getting up to speed here so far, but this will be my first time in a Roush Fenway Racing car and I'm looking forward to getting some redemption. The wall may have won the fight, but I'm still convinced I can win the war.”
