NASCAR Number (July 10, 2013)

By Reid Spencer, NASCAR Wire Service

1: The number of lead changes in the 2000 Dura Lube 300 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, the last time a driver led every lap in a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race. Jeff Burton got credit for leading all 300 laps in the Sept. 17 event, but, technically, it’s not accurate to call him a wire-to-wire winner. Though Bobby Labonte didn’t lead a lap, he was the polesitter who took the field to green to start the race. NASCAR scoring registered a lead change when Burton, who started second, was first across the stripe to complete Lap 1.
