Ben Rhodes Featured in Young Guns Program of Press Pass FanFare Racing 2013 Trading Card Product

Louisville, Kentucky, native Ben Rhodes and Press Pass Inc. are excited to announce this month’s release of the next NASCAR trading card product, FanFare Racing 2013, featuring the 16-year-old racer in the “Young Guns” program. Touted as the most comprehensive set of the year, FanFare is composed of a 100-card base set featuring drivers from the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, NASCAR Nationwide Series, NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, as well as up-and-coming stars in the sport.

This year’s “Young Guns” program will feature a base card and four different foil level autographs (including a 2013 National-exclusive version to be found only at the National Sports Collectors Convention in Chicago) of Rhodes.

Rhodes grabbed national media attention in multiple prestigious NASCAR Whelen All-American Series events this year with Hawk-McCall Motorsports, including finishing second in the UNOH Battle at the Beach at Daytona International Speedway (FL) and third in the Denny Hamlin Short Track Showdown at Richmond International Raceway (VA). He has made three starts to date in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East with Turner Scott Motorsports, including a fifth-place finish at Iowa Speedway in the East-West combined event in June, where he was also announced by NASCAR to their NASCAR Next program of featured up-and-coming drivers in the sport. He will race four more K&N Pro Series East events in 2013 with a full schedule on tap for 2014.

“I want to thank Press Pass for including me in the 2013 FanFare Racing program,” said Rhodes. “At most of our races we pass out various different things to the fans, including light-up cheer sticks, Louisville Slugger mini-bats, hero cards, stickers, drink sleeves, and temporary tattoos. Fans love getting things, and the one thing I haven’t had out there yet was a trading card. It is pretty cool to be a part of the Young Guns program and have my first NASCAR trading card be with Press Pass, a leader in the industry.”

Collectors and fans will be able to chase base cards (including specially numbered and die-cut base parallels) and autographs of Rhodes by purchasing Special Boxes of the FanFare Racing product in select Walmart and Target stores and in Hobby Boxes from hobby collector shops across the U.S.
