Kimmel will appear from 4 to 5:30 p.m. at the Menards store in Muskegon and from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Menards store in Wyoming on Friday.

Discounted tickets will be on sale at nine western Michigan Menards stores in anticipation of Saturday's race.

Kimmel, a nine-time ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards champion, will be hunting for his 80th career ARCA victory. He is currently tied with Iggy Katona for the all-time ARCA win record of 79.

Kimmel finished second at Pocono Raceway Friday, extending his own personal career record for consecutive top 10 finishes to 23 races. He also extended his ARCA Racing Series points lead over Mason Mingus to 205 points.

"It was a great day," Kimmel said. "The Ansell-Menards Toyota ran really well but we just weren't quite as fast as two or three of those other cars. It had been that way throughout practice but all in all, I was still really proud of the guys.

"We had a good pit stop and got back out there in a good position to cycle back through the field. We tried everything we could to sneak up there and win another one, but we ended up second and we're pretty happy with that outcome."

The ARCA Racing Series will visit Berlin Raceway for the 14th consecutive year Saturday for a one-day event that features practice, qualifying and the race all in one day. ARCA's history at Berlin actually extends to 1958, but every year since 1999. Kimmel has won three times at the track. He finished second last year to eventual series champion Chris Buescher, despite leading 110 of 200 laps.

An audio broadcast from Berlin will be live on arcaracing.com. The race also will be the second of a four-race series of short track races being shown on a tape-delayed basis by NBC Sports Network. The race will air at 11 p.m. Aug. 25.
