Reddick, who recently competed in Cunningham's 22 car at the DuQuoin State Fairgrounds on Labor Day, circled the 1.5-mile track in 31.074 seconds, an average speed of 173.779 mph.

Reddick, making his first speedway appearance, was among 15 drivers who participated in today's open test, all in preparation for the 13th annual Kansas Lottery 98.9 on October 4, the ARCA season finale.

Despite being fastest, Reddick, 17, will not be approved to race at Kansas where drivers are required to be 18-years-old to compete. Reddick also spun on the apron en route to his final test run, making no contact.

Zach Ralston was not quite as fortunate, making contact with the turn three wall. Ralston was not injured and was able to drive the car back to the garage area.

Chad Boat, debuting a brand new Billy Boat Motorsports Toyota Camry, was second fastest overall at 173.673 mph. Boat finished third last Saturday night in the Prairie Meadows ARCA 150 at Iowa Speedway.

Justin Boston, in a Venturini Motorsports Toyota, was third fastest overall, followed by Tom Hessert (Cunningham Motorsports Dodge) and Mason Mitchell (Empire Racing Ford).
This year's Daytona ARCA 200 winner John Wes Townley, also in a Venturini Motorsports Toyota, was sixth fastest overall.

NASCAR Sprint Cup Series veteran Joe Nemechek also made laps during the test in a consulting effort with newcomer and rookie Bobby Grewohl.

In 12 events at Kansas, only Frank Kimmel and Alex Bowman have repeated in the win column with Kimmel getting his first win at Kansas in 2002, and again in 2006. Bowman went back-to-back with wins at Kansas in 2011 and 2012.

Other Kansas ARCA winners are Jason Jarrett (2001), Shelby Howard (2003), Ryan Hemphill (2004), Chad Blount (2005), Scott Lagasse, Jr. (2007), Scott Speed (2008), Parker Kligerman (2009), and Ty Dillon (2010).

The October 4 Kansas Lottery 98.9 is live on FOX Sports 1 at 8:30 p.m. Eastern. The event will also feature live timing and scoring of all on-track activities at ARCAracing.com.
