Hackenbracht: Pretty in Pink for Charlotte Nationwide Debut

NASCAR Nationwide Series rookie, Chad Hackenbracht will be behind the wheel of the No. 44 Ingersoll Rand / Tastee Apple, Inc. Toyota Camry for Friday night's 32nd Annual Dollar General 300 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. This will mark Hackenbracht's sixth Nationwide Series start with TriStar Motorsports and his first at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Hackenbracht, who admittedly is still learning a thing or two about the Nationwide Series cars, last raced for TriStar Motorsports earlier last month at Chicagoland Speedway, where he earned a respectable 21st place finish at the 1.5-mile tri-oval.

Pretty in Pink...
Hackenbracht will have a special paint scheme on the No. 44 Ingersoll Rand / Tastee Apple, Inc. Toyota Camry for Friday night's race. Ingersoll Rand has teamed up with the National Breast Cancer Foundation to help "Give Cancer the Boot". The "Give Cancer the Boot" promotion extends beyond the racetrack with Ingersoll Rand giving away pink protective tool boots with qualifying Impactoolâ„¢ kit purchases beginning Oct. 1, while supplies last.

As part of the "Give Cancer the Boot" breast cancer awareness campaign, Ingersoll Rand will also donate up to $50,000 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, which funds their Early Detection Plan, educational programs, online support communities, mammogram and diagnostics services and breast cancer research.

This weekend's Toyota Camry:
Chassis No. 676 will be used this weekend. Hackenbracht last saw this chassis at Chicagoland Speedway where he earned a 21st place finish. Cole Whitt also drove 676 to a 9th place finish at Kentucky Speedway last month.

Catching up...
What does your first race at Charlotte Motor Speedway mean to you?
"I watched my first ever cup race at Charlotte. I'm pretty excited to finally be able to have my shot there. I don't think there will be an "awe" factor or anything; let's just say I'm excited!"

You'll be one of three rookies to race at Charlotte Motor Speedway for the first time, what are your expectations?
"My expectations are to finish in the top-15 and finish the whole race. I feel that Charlotte really suits my driving style and with some help from my teammates Mike Bliss, Eric McClure and Jeff Green to lean on for advice, I think I'll get the hang of it.
