With her 7th place finish in the standings Duno is the 2nd highest finishing female driver in ARCA’s 61-year history.

The highest finishing female driver in ARCA Series history is Shawna Robinson - who finished the 2000 season 6th in the Driver Point Standings.

Duno qualified 20th in her No. 35 Cantv/Milka Way Toyota for the scheduled 99-lap race and would pit twice - on the first caution receiving fuel, new tires and an air pressure adjustment – and then during the second caution for fuel only.

On the lead lap, Duno was on a charge and was passing cars and had advanced her position from 20th to 15th when ARCA Racing Series and Kansas Speedway officials decided to shorten the race by 34 laps due to threatening weather.

Duno finished 15th when the checkered flag waved on lap 65.

“We had a good race going and the car was getting quicker as the race progressed,” said Duno. “Had the race not been shortened due to understandable weather concerns I think we may very well have gained even more positions. Thanks to my Venturini Motorsports team for another good effort.”

"It was a good race and Milka was doing everything she needed to do to earn a good finish,” said Kevin Caldwell, Crew Chief, No. 35 Venturini Motorsports Cantv/Milka Way Toyota. “She earned yet another of many top-15 finishes in her first full ARCA season.”

Duno started her 2013 season 2nd in the season-opening race at Daytona International Speedway and took the lead on the first lap and led 11 laps until the first caution.

She also earned the pole and led laps at Talladega Superspeedway and became only the fourth female driver in ARCA Series history to win a pole and only the second female driver in 25 years to earn an ARCA Series pole at Talladega.

In the 21-race season Duno would score one pole, two top-10 and thirteen top-15 finishes.

She would also finish the 2013 season with a Menards Pole by Ansell award for her pole at Talladega, 3rd in CGS Imaging Hard Charger points and 3rd in the S&S Volvo Laps Completed points with a total of 2423 laps completed during the season.
