Triumph Triple Challenge Entries Open for 2014

The Triumph Triple Challenge (TTC) has now been confirmed for 2014 with more great racing than ever before! 2013 saw the TTC’s most competitive season with thirty five riders on the grid and new lap records at virtually every circuit visited on the BSB calendar.

In what will be its eighth year, the TTC continues to offer the best all round value introduction to British Championship racing. Its unrivalled parts support, loan bikes, tailored payment plan, television coverages and fantastic prizes, all come together with a friendly paddock and super competitive racing.

This year we’re adding two races to the calendar and a one off guest event, meaning you get more visibility, more races and even more chances to win. 2014 will also see the continuation of the highly successful Cup class enabling our newcomers to prove their racing talent despite having never ridden at BSB before.

With competitors riding both the latest Daytona 675’s the series is also open to all models of the 675 right back to 2009, if you think you would be disadvantaged on the older bike then think again. Tom Ward stuck his 2011 675 on pole position at Cadwell Park earlier this year.

2013 has seen Chrissy Rouse, selected by Triumph UK in 2011 as their Triumph Young Gun, go on to win the championship by an astonishing 71 points. He will now claim first prize in the Championship and move up to Superstock 600 or British Supersport with the T3 Racing team. Last year’s winner Rob Guiver went on to race for the Ace Cafe T3 Racing team in the Motorpoint British Supersport and he’s currently leading the 2013 Supersport Cup Championship.

Tony Scott, director of the series, said: "The focus for us has always been the rider and giving them the best experience we can based on why they’re here. Some come to win; some come to take part, either way the TTC has never failed to deliver great racing and a competitive spirit."

MCE Insurance British Superbike Championship Series Director said: "It is great to see the Triumph Triple Challenge continue as it is clearly established as a series for developing riders and giving them the platform to progress. It has been proven to be a gateway for upcoming riders to move onto the next stage and it is great to see that it continues to produce a truly international line up."
