Daniel Hemric

No. 6 Jack Link's / Valvoline

Chevrolet Silverado

This Week's Jack Link's/Valvoline Chevrolet at Martinsville Speedway... Daniel Hemric will pilot chassis No. 49 from the Sharp-Gallaher Racing stable in Saturday's Kroger 200 at Martinsville Speedway. This chassis was most recently used at Iowa Speedway in September where SGR's Justin Lofton started from the 16th position and finished 19th. Lofton also utilized this Chevrolet when he drove it to a 14th-place finish at Bristol Motor Speedway in August and at Iowa Speedway in September 2012, where he started in the 13th position, led laps and competed inside of the top 10 before being collected in a multi-truck accident on lap 95.

Introducing, Daniel Hemric... Daniel Hemric has become a household name among the Legends Car, Modified and Late Model ranks, earning countless accolades over the years. The 22-year-old began racing go-karts at the age of five before he graduated to Legends Cars at 16. Hemric won back-to-back Legends Pro Championships in 2008 and 2009, and claimed the 2009 Summer Shootout Championship at Charlotte Motor Speedway (Concord, N.C.) with six visits to Victory Lane during the 10-race series. In 2010, the Kannapolis, N.C., native won the nationally televised Legends Million event held at Charlotte Motor Speedway. He then moved up to race Modifieds and Late Models. Hemric won his first Super Late Model event in 2011, and in 2012 was crowned the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Champion. So far, 2013 has brought him additional track and series championship titles (Super Late Model), the Summer Shootout Championship and Legends Car Pro National Race Champion title.

2012 Flashback to Martinsville Speedway... Martinsville Speedway is known for its short-track shenanigans and the wild bumping and banging style of racing. The No. 6 Chevrolet team battled inside the top 10 for most of the Kroger 200; however, with just three laps remaining, the Silverado suffered a punctured left rear tire. Despite the deflating tire, Justin Lofton wrestled the truck around the track for two laps before spinning on lap 199. He managed to drive across the finish line on the lead lap and in the 19th position.

Daniel Hemric Quotes:

On making his NASCAR national series debut in the Camping World Truck Series ..."This is a dream come true. I am so thankful to Eddie Sharp and Bill Gallaher for the opportunity, and to Austin Dillon for putting me together with them. It is going to be great to make my NASCAR Camping World Truck Series debut with a great team at SGR. Everyone has really pulled together and put in a lot of last-minute effort to make this a reality, and I cannot thank them enough. Also a huge thank you to Jack Link's, Valvoline, Hope for Warriors and Stitch98 for their support!"

On testing at Martinsville Speedway to prepare for the Kroger 200..."I was really excited to have the chance to test last week at Martinsville (Speedway) in the Sharp-Gallaher Racing Chevrolet. Martinsville Speedway has such great history. We showed a lot of speed early on in the test, and it gives us a lot of confidence as we head back there this weekend."

On short-track racing... "I grew up racing my whole life and have a lot of experience on short tracks like Martinsville (Speedway). I'll feel right at home in the truck this weekend."

Max Gresham

No. 8 AmWINS Group, Inc.

Chevrolet Silverado

This Week's AmWINS Group, Inc. Chevrolet Silverado... Prior to being in the Sharp-Gallaher Racing (SGR) stable, Chassis No. 43 (KHI-T043) spent time at Kevin Harvick Inc. (KHI) with driver Ron Hornaday Jr. This truck debuted at Sharp-Gallaher Racing with driver Cale Gale at Michigan International Speedway in 2012. This weekend will be the chassis' third appearance with the 20-year-old Gresham with history at Martinsville and Iowa. Gresham finished 30th at Martinsville last April, after a qualifying effort of 18th.

Think Pink®... In commemorating Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Gresham will "go pink" for the 200-lap event at Martinsville. Gresham will run a special pink and black paint scheme in honor of his grandmother, Mary Jane Siggins, who is a breast cancer survivor. The change to a pink Silverado paint scheme had the full support of his partner, AmWINS Group, Inc., as well as Sharp-Gallaher Racing.

Gresham at Martinsville... This weekend will mark Gresham's career-fifth start at the historic speedway in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS). Gresham finished a career-best 11th at Martinsville last October. With four career starts at Martinsville, Gresham has more starts at Martinsville Speedway than at any other track on the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series schedule. Gresham also has one NASCAR K&N Pro Series East start at the short track in 2010 where he finished 17th.

Short Track Stats... Gresham boasts seven starts on short tracks (less than one mile in length) with an average starting position of 19th and an average finish of 18.3 in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.

Welcome Home... Sharp-Gallaher Racing Virginia native: front tire carrier Seth Saunders from Gretna.

Rock the Vote... Voting is open for the NASCAR Truck Series Most Popular Driver. NASCAR fans can log onto www.nascar.com/ncwtsmpd to cast their vote for Gresham as the 2013 Most Popular Driver in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. Voting will continue until November 15th, 2013 at 11:59 p.m. ET. Fans can vote once daily until the end of the contest.

Rearview Mirror: Talladega Superspeedway... Gresham and the No. 8 team started the 94-lap event at Talladega Superspeedway from the front row in second position. Gresham remained in the top 15 for the majority of the event and maneuvered through two "Big Ones" en route to an eighth-place finish.

Max Gresham Quote:

What are your thoughts on competing in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series at Martinsville Speedway?... "I love short-track racing at Martinsville, and I think it's because the track reminds me so much of the short tracks where my racing career started. The No. 8 AmWINS team has grown a lot since the last race at Martinsville (Speedway). I know we have what it takes to contend."
