“We see the team at Red Bull not just as our sponsor, but truly as our partner in helping us to build Global Rallycross into the premier motorsports platform,” says Colin Dyne, CEO of Global Rallycross. “Their legacy of growing brands in the motorsports arena, from Formula One to motocross and beyond, makes them the perfect partner to take Global Rallycross to the next level.”

The 2014 series calendar, consisting of 10 – 11 races, will be announced in late November. Fans can still expect the fastest and most exciting racing in all of motorsports, but with Red Bull’s added marketing and event expertise, they can look forward to an even higher-octane entertainment experience.

Global Rallycross Returns to Vegas for Season Finale

Global Rallycross will stage the ninth and final event of its 2013 season on the Las Vegas Strip on Wednesday, November 6 and Thursday, November 7. The event will be broadcast live on ESPN2 on Thursday, November 7, at 7:00 PM ET.

A total of 26 drivers, 16 in the Supercars class and 10 in GRC Lites, will take on the course, which bears a close resemblance to the one used in last season's Vegas-based finale. This year, the course will be set in front of the Luxor Hotel, located at 3901 Las Vegas Blvd. South. The new location will allow Global Rallycross to stage a thrilling finale to cap an intense season of competition.

In the Supercars class, newly crowned champion Toomas Heikkinen will attempt to earn his GRC-record sixth victory of the season, while stars like Tanner Foust, Brian Deegan, Ken Block, Travis Pastrana, and Dave Mirra look to end the season on a high note. Meanwhile, Joni Wiman will look to cap off the inaugural GRC Lites season with a perfect six wins in six races.
