ThorSport Racing Schedules '2013 Celebration' Event

ThorSport Racing, which this season won championships in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards, will hold a "2013 season celebration and community thank-you" open house on Monday, Dec. 16, from 4 - 7 p.m. ET.

The event, the second open house in the last two years at the 100,000-square-foot state of the art shop that opened in August 2011 with a similar special public event, will feature appearances and autograph sessions by four drivers with ThorSport connections, light snacks and beverages, team and championship memorabilia for sale, shop and transporter access, musical entertainment, video presentations, photo opportunities and giveaways.

ThorSport's two 2013 championship drivers, Matt Crafton and Frank Kimmel, will be available for photographs with their race vehicles and championship trophies, as well as signing autographs throughout the event.

Crafton, who holds the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series' consecutive starts record with 316, will appear with his 2013 NCWTS drivers' championship trophy alongside his No. 88 Menards Toyota Tundra.

Kimmel, who secured his record-extending 10th ARCA Racing Series championship and also won his ARCA-record 80th series victory in the 2013 season finale at Kansas Speedway, will appear with the drivers' and owners' championship trophies alongside his No. 44 Ansell / Menards Toyota Camry.

Johnny Sauter, who finished fourth in the Truck Series' standings and led series regulars with three wins, will appear with his winner's trophies from 2013 races at Daytona International Speedway and Talladega Superspeedway alongside the No. 98 Nextant Aerospace / Curb Records Toyota Tundra that he debuted at Homestead.

Sauter's No. 98 Carolina Nut Co. / Curb Records Toyota will also be on display.

Tracy Hines, a two-time USAC national champion who is among the open-wheel sanctioning body's all-time victories leaders with 88 career national race wins, will appear with his Carolina Nut Co.-sponsored Sprint Car that's fielded by Tracy Hines Racing.

The full staff of team administrators, crew chiefs and crewmen for ThorSport's NCWTS and ARCA teams will be on hand to greet fans.
