Fiat Professional Alongside The Yamaha Factory Racing Team

On the occasion of the MotoGP 2014 tests currently being held in Sepang (Malaysia), the partnership between the Yamaha Factory Racing Team and Fiat Professional had its official presentation. In particular, the windscreens of Jorge Lorenzo and Valentino Rossi's Yamaha YZR-M1s bear the logo of Fiat Professional, the Fiat Group brand dedicated to commercial vehicles, who will be the Official Sponsor and Official Supplier for the Japanese team in the 2014 MotoGP World Championship.

Additionally, to seal the partnership, the logo will feature in the Team's official communication and the backdrops for interviews, as well as on the chairs in the pits. And that's not all. Some Fiat Group cars will be provided for the Yamaha Factory Racing Team for the MotoGP 2014 races, while other vehicles - commercial vehicles and cars - will accompany Yamaha Motor Racing management throughout Italy over the course of 2014.

With a series of 6 titles won since 2004, Yamaha Factory Racing is one of the world's most successful teams. Similarly, the Fiat Professional brand has proven to be one of the strongest, most determined teams in Europe, thanks to a wide range of vehicles which supply precise solutions to meet the professional transport needs of small and medium-sized businesses. The winning features of all Fiat Professional models include low running costs, good fuel efficiency, low emissions and outstanding reliability, robustness, performance, dynamic behaviour and driving ergonomics.

Fiat Professional's collaboration with the Yamaha Factory Racing Team confirms the attention that the brand dedicates to all who bring commitment, passion and determination to their work, whatever their role or sector, including the world of competitive sports.

Precisely for the 'workers', but also for those who are simply passionate about motorcycling, the Fiat Professional brand offers a bike transport kit for the Doblò, Scudo and Ducato. It will meet the needs of those who, whether privately or for competitions, not only require a safe, rapid means of transport for their bike but also need a space for changing and, when necessary, a genuine mobile workshop for 'on-site' maintenance or repair. It is also possible to transport two, appropriately sized, bikes side by side. The kit is a valid alternative to using a trailer, above all on medium-long journeys where the consequent speed limit can be restrictive, as well as less risky when the bike is left unattended or exposed to bad weather during any stops.

In detail, the kit is made up of a folding platform, lightweight and convenient thanks to 100%-aluminium construction, that rests firmly on the floor panel thanks to anti-slip feet. The front wheel lock allows the bike to be held in a stable position and secured easily with the straps fixed to convenient floor-mounted guides. Last but not least, the kit is on sale in the major European markets and can be removed in a matter of minutes, restoring the original configuration of the vehicle.
