2014 NHRA: Brandsource Win With Force 2014 Ford Escape Sweepstakes


Fresh from its 18th NHRA Mello Yello Funny Car Championship, John Force Racing and longtime sponsor BrandSource have teamed up with Ford to giveaway a Ford Escape S-Series model through the 2014 Win With Force Sweepstakes.

In 2013, more than 24,000 race fans registered to win prizes at the Win With Force display in NHRA’s Nitro Alley. Another 91,000 fans signed up online at BrandSource.com.

“What an amazing year 2013 was for John Force Racing and BrandSource,” said BrandSource CEO, Bob Lawrence. “It’s great that we were able to give prizes out to so many fans. We are thrilled to partner with Ford in 2014 and give away the most popular SUV in its class, the Escape.”

Whenever a member of the John Force Racing team qualifies #1 on Saturday, a lucky fan wins a new front-loading washer and dryer from BrandSource. If a John Force Racing team wins the event, a fan takes home a flat-screen television from BrandSource. Everyone who signs up is entered into a drawing for a Ford Escape S-Series at the end of the year.

"We're excited to be partnering up with BrandSource and John Force Racing on this program," said Jamie Allison, director, Ford Racing. "John Force Racing is a winner, and we know that whichever lucky fan takes home the 2014 Ford Escape will feel like a winner as well. Our Ford EcoBoost engine in the Escape will give them both the great performance and the great fuel economy that consumers have come to expect from Ford."

Thanks to a winning season by John Force Racing in 2013, BrandSource gave away eight flat-screen televisions and nine washers & dryers to lucky fans.

The first person to let race fans know somebody has won a prize is the man commentating the races from the audio booth and in the Winner’s Circle, NHRA announcer, Alan Reinhart.

“The best programs are the ones that include the fans. The BrandSource promotion is a prime example,” said Reinhart. “When a fan comes to watch the races and ends up going home with a washer and dryer or a new flat screen TV - that’s something that they will never forget, and you can bet they will tell all their friends about it as well. The true highlight is when the lucky fan comes to the winner’s circle; we always make sure they get a photo with the winning driver!”

Fans will once again have the chance to win these great prizes in 2014 when BrandSource returns to the NHRA Midway beginning with the Winternationals in Pomona, February 7th – 9th and online at BrandSource.com.
