Villorba Corse And HERO Join Forces For A New GT3 Programme

Villorba Corse, who was the International GT Open 2013 champion with Andrea Montermini, is planning to compete in unexplored European championships including the Blancpain series and might confirm its GT Open plans. Tomas de Vargas Machuca, Managing Director of HERO, said: “We are very pleased that HERO and Villorba Corse have reached an agreement about the management of the Ferrari 458 GT3”. He added: “Our company bought the car to compete in various championships. Many drivers compete in GT3 series and, at the same time, in events for historic cars. For years HERO has been promoting rallying industry for classic cars among young people because, even if they are usually associated with speed races, many drivers also appreciate other kinds of competition.”
