“I’m excited to welcome rising country star Brett Eldredge to Kansas Speedway to be a part of our first NASCAR Sprint Cup Series night race,” said Kansas Speedway President Patrick Warren. “Brett is a growing star in the country music industry and I know he’ll provide a high performance show to kick off the festivities for what will be an entertaining night of racing.”

“Don’t Ya” reached #1 on the Country Airplay charts this past August which is on his debut album Bring You Back, which was also released in August 2013. “Don’t Ya” became Eldredge’s first single to reach the Top 20 of the Hot Country Songs chart and his first to appear in the Billboard Hot 100.

Eldredge, who has opened for Taylor Swift and Keith Urban, is also known for his song writing, co-writing Gary Allan’s “I Think I’ve Had Enough,” and he frequently collaborates with Country Music Hall of Famer Bill Anderson.

For race fans looking to be close to the pre-race stage for Eldredge’s performance, Kansas Speedway’s gates on May 10 will open at 3 PM with parking lots opening at Noon. Kansas Speedway’s inaugural night NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race, the Kansas 400, will begin at 6:30 PM with the green flag dropping at 6:46 PM. Earlier in the day, Richard Petty Driving Experience will have race rides from 9 AM until Noon.
