"We are excited to announce that drivers will compete for half a million dollars over the course of the upcoming Red Bull Global Rallycross season," said Red Bull Global Rallycross CEO Colin Dyne. "The increased payouts should see drivers battling even harder for race victories and the series championship."

The expanded points fund is one of many exciting developments taking place for the 2014 Red Bull Global Rallycross season. Further announcements from the series will take place in the coming weeks.
