Junior Team GO&FUN Moto3 Riders Working On Suspension At Almeria

The Junior Team GO&FUN Moto3 riders, Niccolò Antonelli and Enea Bastianini, continued testing today at the Spanish circuit of Almeria. Despite the strong wind has affected slightly today's session, both riders were able to complete several laps, working on the set-up of their KTM machines, trying a new front fork that has given good results.

Antonelli completed 60 laps, clocking a best time of 1’39”6, while rookie Bastianini completed 50 laps, improving his yesterday’s lap time by a second, going up to 1’40”9.

The team will remain in Almeria also tomorrow, for another day on the track.

NICCOLO' ANTONELLI (1'39"6)
“Today everything went well! We tried a new front fork with which I felt comfortable and I continued with the good working method set yesterday: I have completed many laps with a used tyre, looking for a good pace, without thinking too much at the lap times. Sometimes the wind was a bit annoying, however we will be on track also tomorrow, so we can continue the good work done so far”.

ENEA BASTIANINI (1'40"9)
“Today we started to test a little later that yesterday, because this morning the temperatures were a bit low, but then I managed to complete many laps, working very well with the team and getting better and better at every session. Speaking about the bike, we focused on the front end, trying a new fork that seems to work well. I am also happy about my lap time, even if in the end I wanted to improve it and I couldn’t do it because of the traffic”.

FAUSTO GRESINI
“I’m pleased with how these tests are going on: our riders, Niccolò and Enea, are keeping a very methodical approach, collecting a lot of experience with this bike that will be definitely important ahead the start of the season. Today, however, the strong wind has slowed a little bit our programs, so we decided to stay an extra day here at Almeria”.
