Both Moyer Sr. and Moyer Jr. started the week off strong at East Bay Raceway Park. On Monday, February 10th Moyer Jr. set fast time and Moyer Sr. won his heat race. Both the father and son duo finished the night with Moyer Jr. fifth and Moyer Sr. seventh in the feature. The next night of racing proved to be one where Moyer Sr. would win his heat race and then go on to win the feature after passing Steve Francis on Lap 22. This was Moyer's 22nd at East Bay and 777th career win, the most of any Late Model driver in the history of Winternationals.

"It's great working with the Labonte's, Earl Pearson Jr., Kevin Rumley and Matt Langston. This car has been great all year long," said Moyer Sr. "I wasn't sure if we would be able to chase down Steve Francis after his good start, but we eventually run him down and took the lead."

The racing action for Wednesday night was postponed to Saturday afternoon due to Mother Nature bringing heavy rains to the area. Moyer Sr. continued strong on Thursday night with Fast Time and winning his heat race. Moyer lead most of the race and was in a strong battle with Dennis Erb Jr. who ended up winning the race followed by Moyer in second place. Earl Pearson Jr. and Bobby Labonte Racing had a rough first night of action at East Bay. They were involved in a wreck in preliminary action and had to go to their backup car. The back up car ended up blowing an engine in the Feature and Pearson Jr. ended the night in 19th.

The Friday night Lucas Oil Dirt Series event proved to be another exciting night of racing for the Longhorn Chassis drivers. Moyer Sr. and Pearson Jr. won their respective heats, as Moyer Sr. set Fast Time earlier in the night. Moyer Sr. and John Blankenship battled back and forth in the feature before Moyer Sr. went on to take the lead on lap 8 and never looked back. This was Moyer's 778th career win. Pearson Jr. battled strong as well and finished with his #44 Lucas Oil Longhorn Chassis in sixth place.

"The car was prenominal all night long. I can't thank everyone at Longhorn Chassis enough; Bobby and Terry Labonte, Earl Pearson Jr., Kevin Rumley and everyone involved this transition has been easy. I also want to thank Clements Racing Engines, the power that I have is second to none," stated Moyer Sr.

In Saturday afternoon action, Moyer Jr. had his Longhorn Chassis hooked up. He set Fast Time in early action, won his respective Heat race and went on to place his #21JR Longhorn Chassis in fourth place in the feature. The Longhorn Chassis team started of Saturday night strong again as all three drivers on hand finished 1,2, and 3 in qualifying. Moyer Sr. set the Fast Time. Pearson Jr. started the LOLMDS Feature in 6th place and late in the night found his grove on the outside of the track. Pearson Jr. put on a show for everyone as he started heading for the front fast. Pearson Jr. finished the Feature with a podium finish of second place.

"That was a heck of a race, I don't know if the caution hurt or helped us. We got around Scott and I thought I had enough laps to catch Davey but we didn't," said Pearson Jr. "This Bobby Labonte Race Team and everyone at Longhorn Chassis should be proud of what we have done so far this season."

During the 2014 Winternationals Speedweeks, known as the Superbowl of Dirt Racing, in nine races Longhorn Chassis proved strong. Among the four drivers on hand for the part or all of the races, Longhorn Chassis set Fast Time nine times with Jonathan Davenport setting a new track record at Golden Isles Raceway. Team Longhorn Chassis had 11 heat wins during the nine races. The Longhorn Chassis finished in the Top five 11 times and won the Feature three times, with Moyer Sr. getting his 22nd win at East Bay the most of any late model driver in the history of Winternationals.

Moyer Sr. and his #21 Longhorn Chassis will be in action this week at Volusia. Pearson Jr. and Bobby Labonte Racing headed back to the BLR race shop in Trinity, NC after wrecking their primary car and blowing a motor early in the week. The BLR team will be back in action in March as the LOLMDS gets their season going strong at Brownstown Speedway. Moyer Jr. and Davenport will take a couple weeks off as well before racing in the NDRL series. Pearson Jr. holds the Lucas Oil Championship points lead heading to Brownstown Speedway on March 22.
