Memo Gidley Moves to an Outpatient Rehabilitation Program

Memo Gidley, driver of the No. 99 GAINSCO/Bob Stallings Racing Corvette Prototype, was moved to a San Francisco outpatient facility earlier this week where he continues to make progress in his recovery from an accident that occurred in last month’s Rolex 24 At Daytona.

After staying for nearly three weeks in the Santa Rosa Memorial Acute Rehabilitation Center, Gidley now begins daily rehabilitation sessions at an outpatient program near San Francisco. The facility offers care in an apartment style setting, while allowing him to be transported daily to the center for physical therapy.

Gidley remains positive and in good spirits as he enters this next stage of his recovery. He also continues to be thankful for the prayers, thoughts and well wishes from friends, family and fans.

Those wanting to send cards can do so by the following address: Attn: Memo Gidley; 2200 Powell Street, Suite 120; Emeryville, CA 94608. In lieu of flowers, Gidley requests donations be made to Camp Boggy Creek, a proud charity partner of IMSA. Donations can be made online at www.campboggycreek.org, and the gift designated in honor of Memo Gidley.
