Tickets can be purchased online at www.darrellgwynnfoundation.org/track-walks.htm or on-site at the Darrell Gwynn Foundation merchandise trailer located at end the Gainesville Raceway or DGF motorhome located behind the Top Eliminator Grandstand. NHRA Drivers that have participated in the track walk in the past include John Force, “Big Daddy” Don Garlits, Antron Brown, Tony Schumacher, Cory McClenathan, Johnny Gray, Alexis Dejoria, Matt Hagan, Larry Dixon, Brandon Bernstein and many more!

“The track walk has been one of my favorite events and we appreicate the support of NHRA fans,” said Darrell Gwynn. “Each donation helps us give the gift of mobility and donate another wheelchair to an individual that was denied by their health insurance the proper wheelchair they need. It’s a great opportunity to meet drivers and walk down a historic racetrack. We’re looking forward to another fun event.”

The Darrell Gwynn Foundation, on behalf of its donors, will donate a custom power wheelchair to 25 year-old Nicole St. Pierre of Naples, Florida. Nicole is in need of a custom power wheelchair to increase and maintain her independence and mobility. Nicole is diagnosed with Spina Bifida and is unable to walk. Nicole had outgrown her current wheelchair which is more than nine years old and no longer meet her needs. Medicare denied her claim for the power wheelchair she needs to give her the most independence possible.

Race fans will also have the opportunity to purchase memorablia from the Kenny Bernstein Racing Collection at the Amalie Oil Gatornationals as the Darrell Gwynn Foundation’s merchandise trailer will be on the grounds, located at the end of the racetrack. Two years ago at the Gatornationals, Kenny Bernstein donated his entire treasure trove of racing memoraibalia to the Darrell Gwynn Foundation to support its mission. Art, jewelry, jackets, crew shirts, collectible parts, novelties, diecasts, fan apparel, trading cards and print collectibles from the collection will be available for sale at the racetrack. Race fans can view the full catalogue online at www.darrellgwynnfoundation.org.
