2014 Las Vegas: NASCAR Sprint Cup Race Results - Keselowski, Ford Win!

By PaddockTalk.com Staff Writers

Brad Keselowski and his No. 2 Miller Lite Ford won the 17th Annual Kobalt 400, his 11th victory in 164 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races. This is his first victory and third top-10 finish in 2014 and his first victory and second top-10 finish in six races at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Keselowski also becomes the first driver to sweep both the NASCAR Nationwide and NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in the same weekend since Jeff Burton did it in 2000. Burton and Keselowski are the only two drivers to accomplish the feat at LVMS.

In second, Dale Earnhardt Jr. and his No. 88 Mountain Dew Kickstart Chevrol posted his eighth top-10 finish in 15 races at Las Vegas Motor Speedway . It is his third top-10 finish in 2014.

Grabbing third, Paul Menard and his No. 27 Quaker State/Menards Chevrolet posted his third top-10 finish in eight races at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Joey Logano and his No. 22 Shell Pennzoil Ford was fourth with Carl Edwards and his No. 99 Aflac Ford rounding out the top five finishers.

Austin Dillon was the highest finishing rookie, he was 16th.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. leads the NASCAR Sprint Cup point standings by 1 points over Brad Keselowski.
