Gaughan's Stats at Thunder Valley ... Gaughan will make his sixth Nationwide Series start this weekend at Bristol Motor Speedway. He earned the pole award in March 2009 and led six laps. Gaughan has eight NASCAR Camping World Truck Series starts at the 0.533-mile speedway, with 39 laps led, three top-five and three top-10 finishes to his credit.

A South Point Did You Know ... The South Point Hotel & Casino includes an Arena & Equestrian Center that can be converted from an equestrian event dirt floor to a publicly ticketed multi-purpose venue concrete floor in 18 hours.

In the Rearview Mirror: Las Vegas Motor Speedway ... Gaughan started from the 16th position in Saturday's Boyd Gaming 300 and fought a loose race car throughout the day. After receiving two-speeding penalties on pit road, the No. 62 team was three laps down and ran out of time to bounce back from the penalties. The RCR South Point Hotel & Casino Chevrolet Camaro finished the day in 16th place. The No. 62 team enters Bristol seventh in the Nationwide Series driver point standings.

Don't Miss You Chance to Meet Gaughan at Bristol ... Gaughan is scheduled to sign autographs at the RCR Merchandise Hauler located outside Turn 2 in the Driver's Souvenir area from 5:40 p.m. to 6:10 p.m. A limited number of wristbands will be distributed on Friday on a first come, first served basis. A wristband guarantees one autograph per wristband holder. Gaughan will also be participating in the Food City Race Night Wii Boxing Tournament on Friday, March 14 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the BMS tent in the track's Hospitality Village.

BRENDAN GAUGHAN QUOTES:
What are your thoughts on Bristol and how has it changed over the years?
"I love Bristol and really enjoy this generation of Bristol better than the single groove, bottom groove generation. You can finally pass people, who would have ever thought that you could be two and three-wide at a place like Bristol Motor Speedway. That is what makes it so much fun, you can race the competition instead of wrecking them."

Is it frustrating as a driver that it can take 15-20 laps to pass someone since the high line is preferred?
"It is frustrating because, back in the day, I would be the only guy up top, so it's very frustrating to me. I wish they would all go back to the bottom and stay out of my way, but that is racing. That is what we are supposed to do; it is not something that is supposed to be easy. Racing is meant to be tough and you have to learn the different lines to run and how to get by people."
