The school aims to promote an appropriate approach to a correct driving behind the wheel of the cars that made motor racing history, providing different steps of preparing a proper driving behavior, ranging from recreational touring to racing competitions. There are three driving areas: Historic Rally, Historic Circuit and Historic Tour, with three levels each: Basic, Pro and Expert.

The driving school course consists of theoretical and practical lessons. Students can choose the beautiful cars provided by the school or their own cars which they want to familiarize with. Students will be followed by tutors since the beginning, from first few meters behind the wheel of the car up to the real race. Historic Driving School can count on a staff of experienced drivers and co-drivers in order to look after each student in each progress stage. The courses are open both to those who want to drive a prestigious historic car as to those who want to refine their co-driver role.

This project was launched by a specific need expressed by a famous French actor in 2013. He bought an exclusive Porsche but soon realized his driving limits. After failing in some attempts of improvement with friends, mechanics and other gentleman drivers, he asked for help from Ale De Angelis and Alex Proh, who enthusiastically made available their own experience. Thus was launched the idea of a proper driving training in the vintage car field: Historic Driving School.

A HDS preview day is to be held on Saturday, April 5 at “Le Cave” track, nearby Vittorio Veneto. There will be the opportunity of testing historic cars and having all the information about driving lessons.
