Fall-Line Motorsports CTSCC Sebring Qualifying

The three Fall-Line BMW M3s took to the track for the IMSA Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge (CTSCC) qualifying in GS earlier today at Sebring International Raceway for what would be a thrilling result. Trent Hindman captured his second pole position in his first full-season of CTSCC racing, which puts he and co-driver John Edwards on point for tomorrow's 2.5-hour race. Teammates Ashley Freiberg qualified 6th and D.J. Randall 15th,

HIndman, just 18 years old from New Jersey, became the youngest CTSCC driver to sit on pole when he earned his first late last year at Lime Rock. He and Edwards finished second behind teammates Freiberg and Blackstock at the season-opening Daytona race and are looking for their first victory of the year. Trent (Hindman) laid down a mega lap in qualifying to put the #46 at the front.

"The qualifying effort was awesome! The Fall-Line guys gave me a beast of a car to drive and we were fortunate enough to put it on the pole. I am really excited to see what happens in the race today, we have a great car so hopefully we can keep the nose clean and bring her home up towards the front. Big thank you to everyone at Fall-Line and to our partners for the incredible effort."

#48 Starstruck / Fall-Line Motorsports BMW driver Ashley Freiberg: P6 2:16.662

"I am happy with qualifying P6, but we have a long race ahead of us and anything could happen. At Daytona we started 12th, so even though I know I have my work cut out for me, I feel confident. Let's go racing!"

Michael Harvey, Fall-Line Motorsports Team Manager:
"What a great result for the Fall-Line BMWs. Trent (Hindman) defiantly pulled a lap out today as he just managed to extract every bit from the car. We have three strong BMWs in race trim as we look to take the top step of the podium. I am extremely proud of the Fall-Line crew; week in and week out they just keep getting better and never giving up."

Sebring's entire two-hour, 30-minute race will be streamed live on IMSA.com starting 1 p.m. Friday, March 14. FOX Sports 1 will provide delayed coverage from 1-3 p.m. Wednesday, March 19, with a re-air from 7:30-9:30 p.m. Sunday, March 23 on FOX Sports 2.
