Working feverishly since arriving on Monday the team has been adjusting on the No. 22 WeatherTech Porsche for drivers Cooper MacNeil (Hinsdale, Ill.), Leh Keen (Charleston, SC) and Philipp Frommenwiler (Kreuzlingen, Swizerland). The team was able to run in the top ten of the 25 car GTD field for the daylight practices and were at the top of the time sheet for last night's laps in the darkness.

In qualifying, Keen had the controls of the WeatherTech Porsche and posted a time of 2:04.268 to start second on tomorrow's GTD grid. The lap placed him first among the Porsche entrants. The team is going for their tenth class win at Sebring with MacNeil going for two in as many years.

"The car gets better and better every session," Keen said. "That is what Alex Job and Greg (Fordahl, team engineer) do, just keep improving. We started off a little slow. I have a lot of confidence in this team and we made the changes to get fast. It is great that Alex has the two fastest Porsches in the field, with the WeatherTech car on the front row. Qualifying was really close and I was really close for the pole. I had some close lap times, I was off pole by a hundredth of a second, I probably had a hundredth out there somewhere. We just have to make up one position by the end of the race."

MacNeil is the defending class Sebring winner and is turning fast lap times.

"Practice was good," MacNeil said. "I have turned the fastest lap times I ever have here with a 2:06, so I am pleased with my progress and that of the teams this week. The car was pretty good today. We did a lot of work since yesterday. All three of us had nice fast lap times today, so I am happy with that aspect. It is going to take a total effort to repeat this year. The field is strong, but we have the team and the drivers to be a factor at the end of 12 hours tomorrow."

Frommenwiler is enjoying his first race weekend at the historic Sebring track.

"We had some issues yesterday, but the team is strong and has done a good job getting the WeatherTech Porsche to handle," Frommenwiler said. "It is crazy to run here at Sebring at night. I like to drive at night and this place is very challenging. The track is very technical and fast, I really love driving this circuit, especially the final turn. It is very fast, bumpy and a challenge to get the car through there fast."

Alex Job, team owner, is celebrating 25 years at Sebring and a history of nine wins.

"It has been one of the toughest weeks at Sebring that I can remember," Job said. "We have been making constant adjustments to the car to keep pace with the rule book as well as the track. The drivers have been doing a good job staying focused with the task at hand and making good progress with the team making the car faster. Leh did a good job qualifying the car on the front row and Cooper and new comer Philipp are very close in times. It is going to be one of the most competitive Sebring races that we have run in 25 years."

The first three hours of the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring will air live on FOX Sports 1, with the remainder streamed live on IMSA.com and through the FOX Sports GO mobile app. FOX Sports 1. The Motor Racing Network will broadcast at MRN.com. Fox Sports 1 will televise a three-hour highlight show from Sebring beginning at 8:30 a.m. ET on Sunday, March 16.

The TUDOR United SportsCar Championship GTD (GT Daytona) Class is made up of some the world's most sophisticated cars, including the Porsche 911 GT America, Ferrari 458, Aston Martin, BMW Z4, Viper SRT and Audi R8. All GTD Class cars run on the spec Continental tire.

Alex Job Racing is one of the most successful teams in sports car racing with 70 wins (since 1995); including two Rolex 24 GT Class wins in 1999 and 2013. This record is supported by 48 pole positions and 106 podium finishes. The team has won five championships (GTC 2013, 2012, GT in 2004, 2003 and 2002) complimented by their two GT class wins at Le Mans. The team also boasts nine Sebring 12-hour wins.
