If you are looking for LIVE timing and scoring, be sure to check out the free service at the Formula One website. There are three different options, and has been a mainstay for Formula One (F1) fans for years!

TV race coverage will start at 1:30 AM Eastern (Pre-Race) with the lights out at 2 AM Eastern. Hard core F1 fans will be up and watching live on the U.S. broadcast partner NBCSN.

If you are looking for alternate coverage, you will have to find some LIVE streaming via contraband video on the Internet. Many of the international broadcasts make it onto the video websites... including the fabulous BBC/Sky Sports coverage.

The consensus forecast of weather in Australia is for mild temperatures in the mid-60s / upper teens C with no chance of rain, though that forecast has been rapidly changing.

So enjoy!
