Scott at Auto Club ... Scott will be making his first Sprint Cup Series start at Auto Club Speedway, but has six NASCAR Nationwide Series races under his belt. Scott has captured one top-five and three top-10 finishes with an average start of 11.3 and an average finish of 12.2. Scott has completed 100 percent of the laps attempted, with three laps led in the series' last race at the two-mile speedway.

Did you know? ... The Whitetail Club has more than 17 amenities on their property ranging from biking trails, hiking trails, tennis, golf, and even a spa. The McCall, Idaho living community will rejoin Brian Scott and his No. 33 RCR Chevrolet this weekend at Auto Club Speedway.

Don't Miss Your Chance to Meet Scott ... Scott will be racing in three events this weekend. Once with a grocery cart at Albertsons Rancho Cucamonga - 8850 Foothill Blvd, Calif. on Thursday, once in his Anderson's Maple Syrup Chevrolet on Saturday and once in his Whitetail Chevrolet on Sunday. Scott will go up against a sweepstakes winner in a two-minute shopping spree at 5 p.m. PST on Thursday, March 20, followed by an autograph session for fans at 5:15 p.m.

Double Duty ... Scott will once again pull double duty this year, doing so this weekend at Auto Club Speedway. In addition to competing in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race on Sunday afternoon, Scott will continue to race for the Nationwide Series championship in his No. 2 Richard Childress Racing Chevrolet Camaro. The Treatmyclot.com 300 is live on ESPN at 5 p.m. ET on Saturday.

Rearview Mirror ... In Scott's last Sprint Cup Series race at Phoenix International Raceway the No. 33 Whitetail Chevrolet team qualified in the 32nd position. For the majority of the 312-lap event, Scott battled both tight and loose conditions in and out of the turns. On lap 172, Scott was hit from behind causing damage to the right-side quarter panel and rear end of his Chevrolet SS. The team remained in the race and rallied to a 32nd-place finish.

Is Auto Club Speedway one of the most fun tracks to race at just because of all the options? And they seem to be good options?
"Yeah I think Auto Club Speedway is a lot of fun. Unfortunately, you kind of race yourself at California. It's a big track, the cars get spread out and it's really unfortunate because, as a driver, it's a fun place.

How much are you going to rely on all the notes from the next couple of weeks going into Fontana? "It's going to be a work in progress. With the new rules package, teams have done testing and we have done testing to try to figure it out, but we are still adjusting and still working on it. I'm sure the set-up from now to then will adjust and change a lot. We had a great run at Las Vegas with our No. 2 Camaro and I feel we have a solid foundation for the 1.5-mile tracks coming up on the schedule."
