Sunoco Rookie of the Year...After graduating to the NSCS this season, Allgaier is competing for Sunoco Rookie of the Year honors in the No. 51 BRANDT Chevy. In 2009, Allgaier took home the Rookie of the Year title in the NNS. After Bristol, Allgaier is currently third in the standings behind Austin Dillon and Kyle Larson.

See Justin...Allgaier will spend time in Lefty's Kids Club at ACS on Saturday, March 22 11:15 - 11:30 a.m. local time reading Lefty and the Radtastic Road Rally to elementary school students.

Bristol Recap...Allgaier made his first NSCS start at Bristol Motor Speedway (BMS) on Sunday afternoon. After going to a backup car in the first practice session, Allgaier steadily improved throughout the weekend. He earned his best qualifying position of the season, 30th, and finished 12th in the final practice session. After rain delayed the race twice, the Food City 500 was completed under the lights at BMS and Allgaier finished in the 17th position for HScott Motorsports.

Justin Allgaier on Auto Club Speedway:
"Auto Club [Speedway] is a very fast and multiple grooved track. The more grooves there are, the better it is for us as drivers, and it puts on a great show for the fans. I'm coming off of my best finish this season at Bristol, so I have more confidence heading into this weekend. Qualifying will be important this weekend because Auto Club usually has long green-flag runs. Overall, I just need to have another smooth and consistent weekend."

Crew Chief Steve Addington on Auto Club Speedway:
"Auto Club [Speedway] is a bumpy two-mile track, so setting up the cars to find a good balance is always a little more tricky. There's not a lot of practice time before qualifying, and a good starting spot at Auto Club is crucial because of the long green-flag runs, so we need to focus on starting the weekend off strong."

About Competition Director and Crew Chief Steve Addington:
Spartanburg, S.C. native Steve Addington joined HScott Motorsports in January 2014 as competition director and crew chief for the No. 51 BRANDT Chevrolet SS. Steve comes to the team from Stewart-Haas Racing, where he spent the past two seasons as crew chief on the No. 14 team and earned four wins with Tony Stewart. Addington also served as a Sprint Cup Series crew chief at Team Penske and Joe Gibbs Racing, racking up a total of 20 wins in the series. Addington began his career working on dirt cars and is a former Nationwide Series crew chief. Addington resides in China Grove, N.C. with his wife Katie and has three children.
