Sparco And Racing Engineering Extend Their Collaboration


Racing Engineering is pleased to announce that Sparco is extending its collaboration with the Spanish GP2 team. Sparco is the largest Automotive Safety Supplier in the world, and continues as official partner during the upcoming years.

Founded in 1977, the Italian company’s history is full of success and Racing Engineering is proud to have been part of this history since 2010. Together many victories and podium finishes were achieved, with the ultimate success in GP2 being achieved in 2013 together with Fabio Leimer, who took the GP2 Championship title.

Sparco’s experts work closely with drivers, engineers and pit crews and Racing Engineering is looking forward to the upcoming years of working towards mutual goals. The result of this close relation with race teams and drivers is Sparco being well known for its innovative products always meeting the highest safety standards. For 2014 Sparco is supplying the team with the world’s lightest and best breathable race suit in the world, yet another innovation breakthrough, which should make drivers not only feel more comfortable, but also allow them to better cope with hot conditions.

But Racing Engineering’s crew is also benefitting from Sparco’s permanent thrive to improve their products. While the pit crew already counted on Sparco’s support in the past, from 2014 on the entire team will enjoy the benefits of Sparco’s products.
