Justin Boston Finishes 20th at Mobile International Speedway

Venturini Motorsports (VMS) driver Justin Boston and the No. 25 ZLOOP Computer and Electronic Recycling Centers - JACO Environmental Toyota team had a rough day at Mobile International Speedway, when a gear failure resulted in a disappointing 20th-place finish in Saturday's ARCA Racing Series ARCA-Mobile 200. In the 24-year-old's second start of the season, Boston and his team were hopeful for a victory after Boston drove his No. 25 Toyota to the pole in qualifying for the ARCA-Mobile 200 at the in Irvington, Ala., track.

Boston started the race on the pole and comfortably held his position for the first 13 laps in the scheduled 200-lap race. The Baltimore, Md., driver then reported over the radio that he felt that something had happened to his Toyota. What began as a promising run early in the race turned into disappointment as Boston couldn't avoid mechanical problems, and had to head to the garage with a gear problem on Lap 13. Crew chief Kevin Reed and the Venturini Motorsports team made repairs as quickly as possible to the No. 25 car before returning to the track on Lap 79. He restarted 20th but had trouble again as smoke bellowed from the rear of the ZLOOP Computer and Electronic Recycling Centers - JACO Environmental Toyota on Lap 120, and he reluctantly returned to the garage area. A broken rear gear would keep the team from returning to the racetrack. The internal damage was too great, so the team was forced to accept a 20th-place result after completing only 55 laps.

The next event on the ARCA Racing Series schedule - the third race of the 20-race schedule - is the Federated Auto Parts ARCA 200 April 27 at Salem (Ind.) Speedway. The race begins at 2:15 p.m. ET, with live coverage provided by ARCARacing.com.

Start - 1 Finish - 20 Laps Led - 13

Justin Boston Quote:
"We came to Mobile International Speedway solely to win the race this past weekend, and it would not have mattered if we finished second I would have been just as upset. Kevin Reed and Venturini Motorsports gave me the best ZLOOP Computer and Electronic Recycling Centers - JACO Environmental Toyota Camry I could have asked for and the performance showed on track.

"It's really a shame we had a part failure that took us out of the race. Due to the finish, we are even more behind in the championship point standings. If we keep showing up ready to win each weekend, I think everyone knows who they will be chasing."
