AiM Sports is the world leader in motor sports and race data acquisition technology, electronics, instrumentation, data loggers, digital displays, lap timers, stopwatches and gauges for performance and race vehicles including cars, motorcycles, karts, and junior dragsters. M

any AiM products combine the functions of traditional tachometer (tach / RPM gauge), speedometer, temperature gauge, pressure gauge and lap timer all into one compact, high performance unit.

“We standardized on AiM data acquisition systems last season and came to rely on the data to maintain a competitive field,” stated John Bondar, President of CTCC. “Our competitors learned how valuable the AiM systems can be in helping them to set up their race cars.”

As part of the exclusive partnership, AiM support staff will attend all CTCC events to provide their expertise to the competitors and series officials.

“We are so very excited to be involved with such a diverse and growing series. The level of racing that the Canadian Touring Car Championship offers is second to none,” says Josh Hanrahan of AiM Sports. Hanrahan went on to say, “Every car competing this season will have our data and/or video equipment in it, so naturally we want to be completely available to both the teams and the officials. The immediate benefit to the teams is that they will be able to gather invaluable data in order reduce costly testing, confirm setup changes, and give the drivers the feedback they need to win races. For the CTCC Technical staff, access to each competitor’s data means that class parity and compliance are ensured…and that means great racing for everyone to enjoy.”
