Ridgeway, Va. (March 30, 2013) - Martinsville Speedway played host to a NASCAR doubleheader on Sunday when Saturday's NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Kroger 250 was postponed due to rain. Ross Chastain, who made his second start of the 2014 season with Ricky Benton Racing, started the 250-lap event from the 13th position when qualifying was cancelled on Saturday morning due to rain. Chastain battled a Ford F-150 that swung from tight to loose over the course of the 131.5-mile race, leaving the Alva, Fla. native fighting for track position in the weather-delayed race at Martinsville Speedway. After receiving two "Lucky Dog" awards on both laps 92 and 233, respectively, Chastain muscled through the field in the final 15 laps to finish 14th in the 31st annual Truck Series event at Martinsville Speedway, his third top-15 finish at the half-mile paperclip.

• Chastain made his fifth career start at Martinsville Speedway in the rain-delayed Kroger 250 on Sunday, March 3
• Keystone Light Pole qualifying was cancelled, for the second race in a row due to rain, and the field was set based on a combination of the two practice sessions on Friday, March 28
• Chastain started 13th - Ricky Benton Racing's best start at the .526-mile "paperclip"
• Chastain ran as high as 14th and as low as 22nd, but muscled his way through traffic in the final 15 laps to finish 14th, his third top-15 finish at Martinsville Speedway
• The No. 92 BTS Tire & Wheel Distributor/Florida Watermelon Association/Puryear Ford F-150 collected two "Lucky Dog" awards on laps 92 and 233, respectively, during the 250 lap event
• Matt Crafton won the 16th annual Kroger 250 at Martinsville Speedway, his first Truck Series win at the half-mile "paperclip"
• There were 17 lead changes, a new track record, between six different drivers and 10 cautions for 56 laps
• Chastain is up 10 positions in the 2014 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series driver point standings to 14th, a mere 38 points behind leaders Timothy Peters and Johnny Sauter who are tied for first with 82 points
• The No. 92 Ricky Benton Racing team will return to action on Friday, May 9, for the SFP 250 at Kansas Speedway in Kansas City, Kansas

"We chased the balance of the truck all day. It went from tight to loose, but overall we had a fast BTS Tire and Wheel Distributor/Florida Watermelon Association/Puryear Ford. We really focused on trying to get this Ford F-150 to turn through the center but also keep the forward drive. We caught a few 'lucky dog' awards, which really helped us, but all and all I think it's a good start for this Ricky Benton Racing team. Obviously, the bad finish in Daytona put us behind, but it's nothing we can't make up, and I look forward to our next race at Kansas."
